Photo Fix
This one is annoying. When you Click Fix in Windows Photo Manager to retouch
a photo and start trying some adjustments, but you decide to bail out. You just click on the red X of the window to leave without changes, right? Wrong, Windows SAVES your adjustments without warning or asking for confirmation! I screwed up a photo this way! ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Photo Fix
Agreed, a few other programs do the same, but that doesn't make it right.
The user should be informed that they are permanantly changing the file. I honestly don't see the problem with saving automatically as a copy or tossing the original file into an ADS (quick, someone patent it!) I realize the ADS idea is a bit awkward, but if someone had the desire, they could code up a fairly elegant solution quite quickly. Then again, with ADS there is that whole "Where is my drive space?" issue. Just some thoughts... |
