Default new vista version - same bug

will u ever fix the problem that the line-in from my onboard nforce can´t be
switched off? please look at the mixer that u had since win95 and put it back
in the taskbar...but please make it work.
it can not be that a simple tool that was working and included in win95,
win98, winME, win2k and xp has gone. the volume panel in the system control
doesn´t work at all... i can activate or deactivate, make louder or not...it
sounds at full volume when i got my video recorder playing.
i tried several drivers - they all work fine with my 5.1 sound device but i
have no control about line-in, mic or whatever.
thx!
