internet connectivity on build 5536
Hi,
Got a problem connecting to the internet on build 5536. Setup - 1 marvell yukon gigabit ethernet card 1 linksys router wrt54g the router firmware is at the current release. Tried using both the driver installed by vista and an updated diver from marvell (which didnt work at all). Symptons - 1. Can connect to my local network, and shared resources. Can connect to my routers set up page. 2. Can not connect to most internet sites. Error is dns server error. In some instances if I type in the ip address it will connect. But will not resolve the address any other way. I've tried the following - 1. disabled ipv6 protocol - same problem. 2. Tried entering in the configuration info for dns server, gateway etc in ipv4 and same problem. 3. Tried updating the card driver - lost all connections. Has anyone had a similar problem or know a workaround for this? This was not a problem in the beta 2 build. Thanks |
