Default Cannot View certain website

I am having a similar problem.

It has nothing to do with the server or IE7. The problem exists in Opera 9,
Firefox 1.5, and IE7.

The sites work fine on Firefox 1.5 and IE 6 in Windows 2003 on the same
internet connection.

This seems to all to common, I have to write this in Ubnutu linux,
my net card is mavell yukon through a Linksy router,
In vista Rc1 some sites load (BBC.com) others load after several minutes or
I get error message.

If Vista is to go public soon a lot of people are going to give up, no way
should they have to upgrade their routers or modems.

MS please sort it asp

I have tested the aforementioned sites and have found a few more that don't
work right, such as the detail pages on Pricewatch.

ex. http://www.pricewatch.com/hard_drives/992260-1.htm

The probably is that these sites simply *do not work right on Vista*, at
least with the Intel 3945 wireless that I have and the Broadcom gigabit
ethernet.

This is so. Some websites are not plain html, they are server responses to
http requests. And those responses, whether running asp, PHP or what have
you decide how to respond based on the browser making the request. It's
likely the site has no coded response to IE 7 beta because it doesn't
recognize it. So you get nothing.

Since I've installed Vista, I cannot view some websites.. most of them
work fine but some dont.. They do work under XP.

www.babyzone.com
www.netfone.ca

Any clue as to what can cause this?

I've tried cable modem, router, flushed DNS, clear cashed item.

Thank you
