Windows Media Player 11 - Sync List (on Vista)
Sync'ing music to my mp3 player - I add an album to the sync list, hit sync
but rather than just adding that one album, windows media player syncs all the albums on my computer to the mp3 player. First noticed the problem because I share the computer with someone else and we want different albums on our mp3s - we were having to delete those we didn't want. However its worse than that, I deleted all the albums from the computer that we'd already put on our mp3 players thinking that would solve the problem. Then went to add a new album and yes, you guessed it 'sync'd' everything and deleted the lot from the mp3 player. Basically that means we've got to keep all our albums on the computer which is crazy. I have read of other people having exactly this problem but no suggested fixes. (I don't want to use drag and drop because getting the album art seems to be a whole new problem). Any ideas? |
