Upon startup I keep getting the error:

The specified module could not be found.

I've cleaned my registry with RegCure and still get the error. I also
tried searching some DLL download databases and there's no "ddcCTIIK"
dll to be found.

Any advice on what I can do to solve this error?

You don't want that .dll. A Google for it only turns up your post, which is
a strong indication that the file is malware. If you recently cleaned up
your machine, then your cleaning tools (your antivirus perhaps?) left a
reference to the file in Startup. If you haven't recently done any
virus/malware scanning, it would be a good idea. Once you are sure the
machine is clean, manage your Startup as suggested below.

BTW, RegCure is a good way to hose your system entirely. See this thread for

Manage the Startup:
Start OrbStart Search boxmsconfig [enter]

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation,
type the password, or click Continue. Then see what is on the Startup tab.
You don't need to restart immediately, but the next time you do you'll get
a dialog saying you've used the Utility. Usually in Vista this will be
blocked by Windows Defender and you'll need to allow it so you can then
tick the box that says in effect, "don't bother me about this again".

Important - Do not use the System Configuration Utility to stop processes.
Instead, use StartRunservices.msc [enter] and do not stop any services
unless you really, really know what you're doing.

Thanks Malke! I'll give everything a try... my antivirus did prevent a
trojan virus so this must be a remaining reference to that.
