Search Index - Rebuild or Restore Defaults
Running Vista Home Premium. Searching for filenames that are in My Documents
no longer works unless I check the box for Include hidden, non-indexed, and system files. But then searches take over 3 minutes. It used to work fine. Should I Rebuild the Index or Restore Defaults? Thanks, CB -- C and A Bredt |

What do you mean I can customise it? -- C and A Bredt |

Restore defaults Agreed. Then rebuild, and finally customise what folders you want to be indexed, if you like. Defaults works for most, though. Charlie42 |
