Default very slow dvd burning on my dell 1520 inspiron vista laptop

hi!
i don't know what happened,
my dvd burner was ok...
but now i can't burn even 1 dvd
it's very verrrrrry slow. more than an hour.
& it always fail in the data verification.
i tried nero, roxio... i uninstalled it & reinstalled it.
but the same problem.
i tried different media...
same thing.
i don't know what happened. maybe i installed something that changed
something in my vista settings?
i uninstalled my "daemon tools". but the same problem.
i remember i installed "macdrive" on my vista (a program). but i
uninstalled it weeks ago.
why it's burning soooo slow? (&why it failes in the data
verification)?
help

btw i searched the net already & found that DMA issue.
i went to my device manager & under IDE channel i have dma enabled. so
this is not the case:

then i tried to delete the IDE channel & restarted vista & now it say
"ATA Channel0":

& the problem is the same...

Hi,

Try using a lens cleaner disk in the drive. The delay may be due to a dirty
lens. These disks are commonly available at most outlets that sell writable
CD/DVD media.
