Display Folders and Files on seperated locations in one Folder.
I have a WHS (1 Tb) and a large network Icybox drive (1 Tb). General folders
like Documents, Music, Pictures, etc. are on both drives. Now I would like to see the contents of f.i. the Documents folder from both drives in one and the same folder. If I click on an item, it should be opened from the right spot. How can I do this on my Vista-notebook? Or do have to buy special software? And when yes, which software? |

simplest way would be to make a folder and create shortcuts of the files you need in there, although that depends on the number of files concerned. Of course vista does the same thing with it's "special" folders like the start menu using junctions but not sure if they are user creatable. seem to remember something i read somewhere that said you could , bear with me will see if I can locate anything. -- barman58 -- Regards BARMAN58 the beginning of knowledge is the discovery of something we do not understand.,- frank herbert |
