Which antivirus are you running? Some of them are not fully compatible
with Windows Mail.

Hi,
We had the same problem with the outgoing server set as mail.ntelos.net

How to set up Outlook to send ntelos.net email.

The SOLUTION!!:

Account Settings - Change Account:

Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtpauth.ntelos.net

-click More Settings - Internet E-Mail Settings:

Tab=Outgoing Server:
Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
Select: Log on using - put full email address and password in boxes. Only check Remember password.

Tab=Advanced
Outgoing server (SMTP): 587

OK-NEXT-FINISH Success!
