iPod Shuffle Kill PC
Fairly new Vista Ultimate PS, 32bit 4GRam QUAD 2.4GHz INTEL
Got iPod shuffle as job exit gift. Plugged iPod shuffle in after downloading and installing iTunes. Plug in iPod shuffle and the PC mouse and keyboard is locked up. Nothing works. Things running keep running but cannot interact with them. Unplug iPod Shuffle and still locked. Unplug iPod Shuffle and reboot, then everything is OK. Using MS Desktop Entertainment 8000 Keyboard and mouse. Any suggestions? |

iPod Shuffle Kill PC
you could try doing a system restore to a time before you installed your ipod drivers. then uninstall itunes, followed by reinstalling the program from the apple/itunes website make sure you choose the right operating system, you will be looking for 32 bit X86 if you got a software CD with your ipod, DONT use it, as it may not be the latest driver. after finishing the installation of itunes. restart your computer and then open itunes. once it has opened, insert your ipod into a USB port on your computer. then wait 10 seconds. look for a list named "source" and then click on your ipod which will be on it, and then you need to click "Check for Update" under the Summary tab. iTunes will check to see if your iPod needs to be updated and perform the update for you. see if this works and let everyone on vistax64 know how it goes.. -- scousa4lyf If it helps, just click the scales (top right of this message) to give me a lil bit of reputation..thanks |
