Adding a hardware device
Attempting to add an internal DVD ROM drive that is supposed to be plug and
play. When booting, error 'no system found' is generated. When the drive is removed the machine boots normally. Apparently, the presence of the drive confuses the system. If the drive is connected after booting there is the option to 'add a hardware device'. Regrettably this option does not offer drives as a device... opted for storage device but this option requires drivers. Since this is plug and play there are no drivers. I have switched between Master, Slave and cable select. Guidance sought |

Adding a hardware device
