Hey please help, i have a windows vista 64 bit home premium.
4gb ram
2*500gb rom
nvidia motherboard
dvd drive
blu-ray drive

if any additional info is needed please contact
been looking to fix it for a long time please help.

disabled superfetch and indexing did not change

It would help to know where the sound is coming from on your computer....are
you talking the noise of the hard drive, fans, CD/DVD/Blueray drives
spinning up?

Systems often have variable fan rates - which can be very loud when the
system is overheating. Have you checked to see if there is plenty of
airflow going through your system? Are your fans old?

Open up the side of your case, and start listening for the load components.
Work your way from there.
