Vista x64 Ultimate SATA HDD gone missing
Hello,
I have just recently installed a new copy of Vista x64 Ultimate on my computer. Everything was going fine and all of my HDD (3 of them) were visible and working. I used the Intel matrix storage manager to create a RAID 0 setup of 2 of my 3 drives. Once that was complete I lost visibility of my 3rd drive that I was using for backups. The BIOS and device manager see the RAID Drive and the Storage drive but for some reason I am unable to see or use the 3rd drive that was going to be used for my backups. I am at a loss and can’t seem to come up with any fixes. Thanks, Jason |

Check in Computer Manager (just type it on the Start menu), and then look
for Disk Manager. See if its listed under there, if it is, it sounds like it just lost its drive letter (which would explain why it wouldn't be listed in Computer). You can right click on the partition from the list on the Disk Manager, and select 'Assign drive letter' (or something similar). -- Paul Smith, Yeovil, UK.
