windows vista installation problem
Here's the problem. I tried installing windows vista home premium because my computer was getting slower. I put in the CD in the driver, followed all the steps and it froze when it was "completing installation". So I restarted my computer because the mouse wouldn't move. Then when the computer started up again, an error popped up saying that windows installation was not completed. I restarted it again and tried to finish the installation. It kept freezing so I wanted to cancel the installation. However, it will not go back to Windows XP (the original windows) and now I can't log on because the error about the installation keeps popping up. How do I get the installation finished or get the Windows XP back? -- ashleylove |

How do I get the installation finished or get the Windows XP back? Did you do the Vista install by booting from its install DVD or from within Windows? If the former, then you probably have hardware issues. If the latter, boot with the XP install CD and do a clean install of Windows. More details about what you actually did and what kind of computer you have will get you more focused help.
