Windows only sees 2Gb of Ram
Running Vista Business on DFI Infinity 975X/G with 4Gb of DDR2-800. For some
reason the bios reports the full 4Gb but windows only ever reports 2Gb (I know the GFX card would take some but I was expecting approx 3Gb). Run MemTest86 tests overnight so it's not the dims. Any ideas? |

Sorry BigJim. I had looked on google and changed some of the options in
bcdedit which was why I asked. Current config is:- nx - OptIn pae - ForceEnable increaseuserva - 3072 Were there any settings I missed? Also, running the x64 version will allow you full access to your 4GB without any 'tricks'. -- Cheers, Steve Jain, Virtual Machine MVP http://vpc.essjae.com/ |
