I use cdex, it's free and very simple to use, giving excellent reults. Link
to it here. http://www.myvideoproblems.com/WebPa...Programmes.htm Though it converts to WAV, you'll find that just as good. -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media www.myvideoproblems.com "-K." wrote in message ... Import mp3 files into Vista
Graham,
Thank you so much for your help. As you suggested, I've downloaded cdex to convert my mp3 files to wav so they will work in the movie maker program, but because I have Vista, I can't access any of the directions or help menu to know how to use it. This is the message that pops up when I click on help: "The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which was used in previous versions of Windows and it is not supported in Windows Vista." Can you give me simple steps to use cdex - how to load the music file and convert it? I haven't been able to figure it out at all. Thanks so much, ~K. Import mp3 files into Vista
Hi
first I am not sure if I am in the right area, to post this question, if not sorry. I am new to vista and I have been told that i can (on windows media player) rip wav to mp3, but if you can i just can't find out how to do it, when i put a music cd into the drive, it rips it to the player but in wav format, i have no idea if this makes any sense to you, as you can see I need help, if what I want to do, can be done Jean C jck "Graham Hughes" wrote: I use cdex, it's free and very simple to use, giving excellent reults. Have you tried WMP's Tools:Options menus? I believe there's options there that should cover you.... ? -- Speaking for myself only. See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
