Possible fraud from ATI
When I went to the ATI site, I saw something very suspecious. It said that I my computer didn't meet the minimum requirements for Vista and that I needed a new graphics card. As you can see from the below screen shot, it doesn't actually say I fail any specific requirement despite saying I need a new card. All the other "are-you-ready" sites I have since tried say that I do meet the requirements.

No, it's not fraud, it's that particular chipset which is as yet unsupported for Vista. Although it meets the requirements, there are as yet no vista drivers for it from Intel/ATI.

Unless Intel create the drivers for that chipset it is never going to run glass. So ATI is right - it is not compatible, at the moment. |

Check the screenshot - it says "ATI Radeon 9500 or better" as a benchmark. You don't have a Radeon at all, so you could be seen as failing that.
