0x00...7B error with Vista update
I have a Asus motherboard P5B Deluxe/Wifi with 4 HD implemented as RAID10
with the Intel R8 . When trying to update my Win XP SP2 with Vista I get the error Ox000007b . When I run the update adviser it detected a JMicron JMB36X Controller that should be updated. Is it also for the Raid ? Nothing was detected for the Intel R 8 raid driver !? So wich one should I update ? Can we load the new raid driver with an USB key rather than a floppy ? |

0x00...7B error with Vista update
0x7B is a hard drive issue most likely caused by no driver for the
controller. You can load the driver from any media that Vista can read during the install, USB drive, CD, DVD, floppy, or whatever. I would add a driver for both RAID controllers during the install. -- Kerry Brown Microsoft MVP - Shell/User http://www.vistahelp.ca "Bernard" wrote in message ...
