Error Message 0xc0000013
When receiving Windows Mail, I get an error message entitled, "Outlook Express Folder Sync Window Class: Windows - No Disk", The message contains the following: A red X in a circle preceding the statement, "Exception Processing Message 0xc0000013 Parameters 0x75C6023C 0x853253CC 0x75C6023C 0x75C6023C". The following buttons appear at the bottom of the message: "Cancel" "Try Again" "Continue". I must click on all three (3) buttons and the "x" closure button at the top right of the window before I can close the message. I am then able to read and process my mail in a normal manner.

Turn off email scanning of your antivirus software or uninstall it and see if that fixes it. see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

I did that already in order to be able to send emails. McAfee was completely uninstalled at the time I started getting these error messages.

Go to Start | Search and in there copy and paste this
"c:\Program Files\Windows Mail\WinMail.exe" OCInstallReinstallOE See if that makes any difference. Also, if you didn't remove and then reinstall your mail account after McAfee do that. steve "ecapell" wrote in message ... I did that already in order to be able to send emails. How very strange. G
Thanks for letting me know for the future. cheers, steve ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul & JoAnn" To: "Steve Cochran" Sent: Monday, May 28, 2007 8:45 PM Subject: Error Message 0xc0000013 FYI. I accidently discovered the cause of my problem. I had downloaded a wav sound file from a disk and listed it as the sound to play when I received email. The file had become corrupted. The error messages have stopped since I properly installed the sound file. "ecapell" wrote in message ...
