Play divx encoded file in media centre
I have some films that have been encoded with the divx codec, I wish to
watch them in media centre. Due to the problems I had before when I installed the divx player I do not wish to install the divx player software. Is there a codec pack that would do the job for me, or will I have to install the divx player software to be able to watch any film that has been encoded with the divx codec??? Any help/ advice or links would be gratefully accepted. NIK |

Do a custom install of Divx. Deselect all but the Divx codec's. You don't
need/want the rest. -- Regards, Richard Urban Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User (For email, remove the obvious from my address) "Nicholas Hall" wrote in message ... During the divx install, do a CUSTOM install and ONLY install the codec. Be sure
to get the latest version from divx.com. The other components of the install have known problems with Vista. -- I Bleed Blue and Gold GO BEARS! "Nicholas Hall" wrote in message ...
