Default Can't delete item from destktop

I hadn't tried to take ownership of the specific file just the folder, so I
tried that through the command prompt like I did the folder. It gives me the
ERROR: Invalid argument/option .....

This particular file in the folder must be the problem......

Thanks

I was able to take ownership but this did not allow me to delete the
file.

The error states:

"could not find this item" this is no longer located in C:......Verify
location and try again.

Thanks.....

Hi, the link below will show you how to " take ownership " of the
folder. After that you
can delete the folder. Please reply whetherit works or not. Thank
you.

Just like Bob said -- Work backwards. Open the folder and subfolder,
open the file one at a time, right click on the file, click Take
Ownership, right click on the file again, click Delete. Go to next file.
Does that work ?? Please reply.
