Default Adaptec 1200A RAID (IDE)

Ok it says that the Vista inspect doesn't like the driver for my 1200A IDE
Raid card from adaptec, since this is function under XP SP2 will this create
a problem with Vista RC-1? I would hate to have it half installed and then
turn all my hard disk to a waste land

Oh yes and is the 2940 UW supported, if it is then the Upgrade Advisor is
detecting my 2940UW from Adaptec's driver isn't supported. Since I am trying
it first with upgrading XP SP2 just to see how well it transitions. Then I
will try it from fresh install at a later time.

Basically what my only two driver related issues that are preventing the
upgrade so far is Adaptec devices (1200A IDE RAID, and the 2940UW SCSI) cards
as problems and need updated drivers. With adaptec site I don't even seen any
kind of beta program running. Is the advisor bugging out and not sensing the
cards correctly or is it really a driver problem? Thanks.

Okay the newest info to my issue so far is that High Point Not Adaptec
supports the chipset. I replaced it with the High Point driver instead of the
one from adaptec and got some better working from it in XP now just got to
get it by the advisor any info is appreciated!
