Default ATI drivers

While looking for drivers for my Radeon 7000 I found a package from
ATI with more than 70MB. This is a little bit -ehm- fantastic? Crazy?
Is there somewhere just a small driver with 600kB? I think I do not
need more!?

Default ATI drivers

The ATI and NVIDIA driver "packages" normally contain lots of different
actual drivers in order to cover many different chips and some differnt OSs.
In addition the "packages" also contain the appropriate Driver Control
Center software for you card and system.
When you run the installation only those pieces out of the package are
actually installed into the Operating System and Program Files. Many users
after as installation save the Driver "package" to a CD if they don't want
or don't have room on their system to keep it.
