Keyboard skipping tet like boardkey
jhutsko;1217853 Wrote: Hi - I have a new Sony Vaio VGN-Z520N laptop, and it is also skipping letters when I type. It seems to be whenever I am online. Is there a conflict in the software of Vista that interrupts the keyboard connectivity to the internet? I have tried another Sony and returned it, as I had the same problem. I really believe this is not the laptop or the keyboard, but something else that is causing this issue. Anyone know how I can get this fixed? From others' posts, it is happening on Vista software.... Thanks. Jennifer. -- jhutsko Try removing your page file, restarting, then assigning your page file to the original settings (initial=1/2 memory, max size=memory size), restarting. you can do this in system properties, advanced, performance, advanced, virtual memory. I just did this and it fixed my typing problem. It seems similar to what you describe. It is vista x64 on a dell latitude e6400. page files can get fragmented. -- JenaVera Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |
