I am trying to upgrade Vista Beta 2 to RC-1. It makes it fine throught the
compatibility test. When it reaches 10% on the file copy task it simply says
that it encountered an error and terminates the install.

Is anyone else encountering this problem. Any known fixes?

Hey Tom,

There are seven files and a sub-folder named setup.exe in the
$windows.bt$\panther folder. Do you have an FTP location to send them to or
were you looking for the contents of a specific file?

I am having the same problem. As a matter of fact, this was a problem during
Beta 2 and I did not pursue it. The contents of my setuperr.log contains
only one line and it is the exact same line as in your log
"setupdibuildriverinfolist failed[gle=0x00000002]

Having the same problem here, keeps telling me "Windows cannot install
required files. Make sure all files required for installation are available,
and restart the installation."
