Default Vista Beta 2 freezes on install/boot up

Similar thing for me, but I can log in, get to my desktop, and do things for
about 2 minutes, then the mouse starts to jerk about then it just freezes
altogether. Tried running in safe mode and the same thing happens

Windows copies files to the disk, expands them, and restarts a couple times,
install features, installs updates and Completes setup. During the install
routine there can be signs of delay but usually its just a delay and setup
will continue just fine. If setup does become non-responsive, you can do a
cold boot and then boot up back the machine and boot Vista setup into safe
mode to see if Vista will finish setup.

Tip: (If setup becomes non-responsive) Start the computer, when the Windows
Boot Manager is displayed, select Windows Setup press F8 on your keyboard
and setup should continue.

to
reboot and does so... the new vista boot screen comes up just fine then I
get
the vista background and a FREEZE everytime... or it will reboot and go
back
to the previous operating system! someone PLEASE help! this has happend
with
EVERY build of Vista that I have tried to install on my desktop all the
way

Having the same issue, boots fine, runs at lightning speed, after about 2
minutes, it just locks... Clock seems to keep running though?
