Similar thing for me, but I can log in, get to my desktop, and do things for
about 2 minutes, then the mouse starts to jerk about then it just freezes altogether. Tried running in safe mode and the same thing happens "Karananand" wrote: hey.. but it didnt work for me.. can it be because my hard drive is SATA? am not sure. for me it cant even boot once. As soon as it boots up for the first time, the screen freezes!!!!. Dun know wht to do? any help "eric1018" wrote: Same thing with me too! WOW! During the install routine there can be signs of delay but usually its just a delay and setup will continue just fine. If setup does become non-responsive, you can do a cold boot and then boot up back the machine and boot Vista setup into safe mode to see if Vista will finish setup. Tip: (If setup becomes non-responsive) Start the computer, when the Windows Boot Manager is displayed, select Windows Setup press F8 on your keyboard and setup should continue. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta "dynastykang" wrote in message ... Having the same issue, boots fine, runs at lightning speed, after about 2
