I also lost the email that contains the product key assigned by Microsoft. Is
there any way to get it back. I search the registry of vista beta 2 but do
not find it.

*If* you are running Beta2, with *your* key used for
installation/activation,
visit http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml

"The Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder is a freeware utility that retrieves
your
Product Key (cd key) used to install windows from your registry.
It has the options to copy the key to clipboard, save it to a text file,
or print it for safekeeping.
It works on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, Server 2003,
Windows Vista, Office 97, Office XP, and Office 2003."

Download this little gem, and find your "lost" key in an instant.
Print it out on a piece of paper, and put in in a safe, for safe keeping
