Default cannot install pre RC1...could not install Beta

Trying to install preRC1, I get a message saying "Windows Setup cannot
determine if this computer supports installing this version of Windows." I
do not have anything strange connected to my computer and it is an ASUS
mother board with AMD 4800 chip , nvidia 7800 GT video, couple of SATA
harddrives 2 g memory and it is only a year old. We have disconnected
everything 1 by 1 and it still won't load...either upgrade or fresh install.
Had the same prob with Beta 2.

At what point of install does it give you that massage,
Are you running a raid setup with the sata drives,

I also get that msg only a few seconds after I launch the setup. I have an
Epox mobo with the NF4 Ultra chipset..Geforce 7900 GTX..I am using the
onboard Nvidia Raid controller with my 2 HD's. I can install Beta 2 all day
long no probem runs good. But i try to install the pre RC1 and I get that
same msg and I cannot install it. Please help. I also tried to install
pre-RC1 on a different machine- a Dell with a pentium 4 setup with regular
IDE drives..and it does the same thing! Maybe I got a bad download of the
ISO? I am d/l RC-1 now...I hope I can install it! Any ideas????

have any fun with Vista. Gotta love it.Is there something in the Windows XP
Services that are not enabled? I have alot of them shut off. Though again, I
had no problem installing beta 2............??
