Can't install Vista
There is another way if you want to do clean install:
Go to FSC web-site (support/download) and download RAID driver into a Flash Drive. During install use "load drivers" button to load a disk driver from your Flash. The disk should appear. Proceed as instructed with your installation. Worked for me :-) Valery ___________________ "MajorWinters" wrote: 1. Boot under Win XP 2. Insert the vista DVD 3. Open my computer 4. Double-click the DVD drive with the VISTA DVD 5. Proceed with the Setup "MajorWinters" wrote: Just boot under windows and run the setup under Win XP. Hello Major Winters: I have Partition Magic but how do I run the installation setup within Windows, since I cannot boot from the DVD. Would you please step me through it one step at a time? Thank you for your help. Kent G. Bailey "Warren" wrote: Hello... same computer same problem.... I think it's just because VIA has not yet issued drivers... if anyone can think of a solution...!!
