Vista RC1 installation on ASUS P5B Del/Wifi in Raid0
Hello everybody.
Hope somebody can help me. The problem is the following. I were attempting now for hours to install vista RC1 on an ASUS P5B Del/WIFI in RAID0 with 2 hitachi 80Gb SATAII drives. Until the selection of the installing drives everything i fine but then I create oe single Volume (160Gb), format it, an when I click Next a window shows up telling me that: Windows could not determine if this computer contains a calid system volume Does anybody know what I shoul do? I would be so gladful. PS I connected both SATAII drives one SATA 1 an 2 (red, master) ports and activated raid in bios for intel ICH8R Southbridge, and created one Raid Drive (JMicron Raid is still in IDE mode) |

Install some XP files - or just start installing XP - then try to install
RC1. Otherwise, just install XP, then Vista from w/in XP. Michael "Mich" wrote in message ... Hello everybody. Hope somebody can help me. The problem is the following. Vista RC1 installation on ASUS P5B Del/Wifi in Raid0
Thanx...
but I figured out what the problem has been, and maybe it will be usefull for some other people. In fact even though you may load drivers from USB memory Stick you have to UNPLUG it before going on with the installation !!! Very strange because there is no warning message...
