Default IDE drive not recognized.


I unplugged all IDE devices except the 40GB HDD, just to see if BIOS at
least would pick it up. It did not show in BIOS still and did not spin.

On top of all this, i also have a Western Digital 750GB HDD SATA II
that will not show up in OS, or BIOS if i use an SATA cable. I can only
get the 750gb HDD to show up in BIOS and OS if i use my eSATA enclosure.

Sounds like its time for a new motherboard?
