Default No internet connection on boot up

Hi,

I have not been able to find a direct answer to my problem can you please
help?

On boot up I have limited network connectivity. Only after I hibernate or
put it in sleep mode then back out do I get full connectivity. I have a fixed
line connection to a Cisco soho router. My wife's machine is running xp and
has no issues. I only had this problem since moving to vista. Its really
annoying. Any ideas?

Many Thanks

Robert

Hi,

Yes, I have that update installed. It made no difference for me.

Any other ideas...

You may want to check the NIC and router are compatible with the Vista.
