Default RC1 Will Not Intall ~ HELP

I spent ten hours downloading the ISO file, then i copied the image to a DVD.
The autorun brings up a blank black box for about a second, then dissapears.
When I try to run setup directly, it says it is not a valid Win32
application.

Can you open the DVD under Explore and see what files are on it? If it only
shows one .iso file, you probably did not burn an image to the DVD. It
should have, or at least mine seems to, 5 folders and 3 files you can see.

Maybe the fact you say you "copied the image" means you really did not Burn
the image. It may be a different procedure, as in Nero, you have to look
under Recorder-Burn Image. Your software probably has an Image burn utility
setting.

If you are trying to install the Vista 64 version using a Win32 environment
you will get that error as the setup program is a Win64 executable.
