vista can't connect network place
I had the same problem.
I am trying to connect to share calendar in my LAN. The calendar is hosted by a PC mouting Apache with the webdav module installed. Every time that I am trying to connect to this local address, VISTA RC1 prompt a windows authentication form. How can I solve the problem? "canna" wrote: The situation is: 1, My PC installed and running Windows Vista Beta 2 2, My PC connected to the company's internal network which using DHCP server, and can't connect to internet 3, I need to connect to a webdav server inside the internal network In the past, I've using "Add My Network Place" in XP to connect to the webdav, but i can't find the same function in Vista now! Vista always said that it can't detect the internet connection and hence ask me to create to new network connection first....(who said Vista's network center is easier to use??????) Did anyone know how to connect a webdav folder on offline mode(just connect to the internal network but not internet)? OR i must online first? |
