log in security???
If you mean to log on in safe mode, then this suggestion might not work. In builds after 31 July (or so, I don't remember the exact date), we changed this behavior.
If the computer is NOT domain-joined, if there is at least one enabled local administrator account, safe mode won't permit logging on to builtin\administrator. If the computer IS domain-joined, safe mode never allows logging on to builtin\administrator. _________________________________ Steve Riley http://blogs.technet.com/steriley "ko van Zeeland" wrote in message .com... installed rc1 ,now it tells me that I can no longer log in the old way and then a guest screen pops up and asks for my password.... never had one... tried to F8 and it gives me three options to log in guest , again with the password,,, administrator which says that its blocked and no lomger available and other, again with a password,,,, never had a password, just me and two other computers in a home setup. how do I by pass this Use F8 and select administrator but don't type a PW in just click to continue. ko van Zeeland |
