Default synching my MP3 player on Media Center

How can I sync up my mp3 player will a playlist through Media Center ?
It's easy on WMP.

I also would like to just send mp3 files to the mp3 player, not just
sync up a playlist.

how do I do this in Media Center ?

thank you in advance

If you just want to send mp3 files to your mp3 player without the bother of
Syncing to WMC or WMP then do this:

1) Hook up MP3 player to computer USB port.
2) go to Computer. (Pop-up window may open Computer for you)
3) right click your MP3 device. Open. Look for place on MP3 player where
your MP3 songs are parked and transfer songs like you would to a HD or memory
stick.

yes, I know how to do that. But I wanna be able to sync up like I
currently do w/ WMP. I wanna be able to create playlists & send them to
the mp3 device, using my 'sync list'. Is there no way to do this in
Media Center ? Is there also no way to create playlists in Media Center.
If so, then it sounds like we will always be required to run WMP to
fully manage our mp3s.

Sorry, I misread your first post.

Right.

I concur with you. Media Center doesn't have the features to transfer mp3
to and from the mp3 player, or make playlists like WMP. At least not with the
version that I have. (Home Premium). I've searched the internet and MS sites
and can't find any useful info regarding transfer or playlists with MC. I've
fooled with MC and gone back to using WMP or just transfer files via Computer.

Also, WMP seems to be faster to connect to internet radio, too.
