Default Firewire port on USB

Hi!

A foolish question (I think)
My Dell has two PCI slots, both occupied.
I am not able to locate a PCI-X or PCIx16 firewire card in the friendly
neighbourhood grocery shop. Is there any "adaptor" to connect 1394 devices
through USB? I dont think so, but a shot in the dark!

The only adapter I've ever seen is this one:

http://www.usbfirewire.com/Parts/rr-527950.html

But it looks like it only works with XP, and maybe only DVR's.

I'd definitely look further than the corner grocer:

Thanks!

I am a lazy old man! :-)
I did locate the Belkin and other PCI-X cards, but somehow I could not locate
any in Mumbai.
