Performance Defferecne
::I was wondering if anybody had any insights to this (possible Issue). I have to systems both running Vista Ultimate 64::: :::: ::_*Systems_One_(Work_PC):*_:: ::*Motherboard* – GIGABYTE GA- MA770-DS3 (AMD 770 & SB600 Southbridge):: ::*CPU* – AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ Windsor 3.2GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket AM2 125W:: ::*RAM* – Corsair DDR2-800 (TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX Timing (4-4-4-12)) – (2 x 4GB):: ::*Graphics Card* – GIGABYTE GV-RX387512HP Radeon HD 3870 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16:: ::*PSU* – Thermaltake 650:: ::*Drives* – RAID 1 (2 Seagate ST3250410AS - 250 GB, 16 MB Cache):: ::* *-Windows Experience Index 5.6-:: ::*_System_Two_(HDCP_PC):_*:: ::*Motherboard *– GIGABYTE MA790GP-DS4H (AMD 790 & SB750 Southbridge):: ::*CPU* – AMD Phenom 9850 BLACK EDITION 2.5GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 2MB L3 Cache Socket AM2+ 125W:: ::*RAM* – Corsair DDR2-1066 (TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF Timing (5-5-5-15)) – (2 x 4GB):: ::*Graphics Card* – SAPPHIRE 100225L Radeon HD 3870 512MB 256-bit GDDR4 PCI Express 2.0 x16:: ::*PSU* – Thermaltake 750:::  rives – Native IDE: 1 SeagateST3250410AS - 250 GB, 16 MB Cache:: :: 1 Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS - 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache:: :::: ::* * On Board Graphics are Disabled – Enabled, Windows Experience Index was 4.2:: ::* * Windows Experience Index 5.7:: :::: ::I have not attempted to tune or over clock anything. System 1 tends to kick butt relative to system 2. I am really having a hard time believing that something is not hosed on System 2. I would expect that the Quad Core and the Memory running a 1066 (Verified using CPUz and AMD Overdrive tools) that the performance isn’t at least somewhat better. Both boards are running the latest firmware.:: -- VistaEdMan
