Synchronizing with a Pocket PC device
Hi!,
I've been trying to synchronize music with my Pocket PC device (HTC TyTN, Windows Mobile 5.0) using Windows Media Player. The actual synchronization isn't problem, but as my device has built-in memory of 64 MB and in addition I have storage card of 512 MB, I'd like to use the storage card for storing music. Currently WMP uses the built-in memory, which, needless to say, is filled pretty quicly. So, the question is: Is there any way to make WMP transfer the music to the storage card instead of the built-in memory of my device? Thanks. |

Synchronizing with a Pocket PC device
pretty easy, but only if you see the button. as far as i know, you can only
sync with wmp via usb, (eg i use bluetooth normally) connect device, and in wmp, click on the little arrow and it should change to storage card. other than that, no idea. |

Thanks for the reply.
However, I can't see any arrow or button, which I could click on the right panel to change to storage card. I have connected the device to the computer using the USB cable. In Explorer I can see the storage card and use it. Thanks. I have the same problem with my dash and the 2gig storage card. I was able
to sync this perfectly with xp, but since the upgrade WMP isn't seeing the card as a viable sync device. I don't see any answers on this site regarding this either "Miko2" wrote: Thanks for the reply. Did you install the hotfix for that issue yet... ? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931621/en-us is potentially the missing piece here. -- Speaking for myself only. See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. -- "Mikegyro" wrote in message ...
