Hello... i was wonder as to how i would get my old files from the
windows.old file to be added to my computer as before.. but they seem stuck
int he folder.. i can take them out but they dont work.... can someone plz
tell me as to how (w/o reinstalling) i get those files back to working
functionality.

also i play World fo Warcraft.. so when i attampted to open it with it's
launcher it said "failer to instal patch, plz close all programs and try
again" can u also help me aoid this.. or are they related?

Sorry, but most applications in the Program Files folder under Windows.old
will have to be re-installed, using the program's installer. The missing
elements are the registry settings made when the program is installed, as
well as other files needed by the program that it might place under the
Users Folder, or even under the "All Users" ProgramData folder. Their are
too many ducks to get in a row for most complex programs, such as World of
Warcraft, and dragging and dropping its files won't be successful. The best
you can do is try. Some will work, most of them won't. "Failed to install
patch" is probably an error where the program was installed using Windows
Installer, and it's looking for a Windows Installer element it needs to run
when the program is initialized. The element won't be there, because that,
too, is a registration issue, as well as an issue regarding special Windows
Installer files, again, not to be found in the program's Program Files
folder...
