windows.old
It should be on your C:\ drive, and just a folder called windows.old. You
should find your files in there. To get there, you can click on "Computer", then "Local Disk (c". You should find the "windows.old" folder in there. If not, did you do an upgrade or a clean install? Only the upgrade will create the windows.old folder. -- Dustin Harper http://www.vistarip.com -- "Fernanda" wrote in message news Hi I just installed windows vista and I thought I backed up my files but I didn't and now I can't find the windows.old files, where can I find it? The windows.old file is normally hidden. In Windows Explorer, go to
Organize/Folder and Search Options/View Tab. Select the "Show Hidden files and folders" option. The windows.old folder should be next to the C:\Windows folder. -- Ronnie Vernon Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User "Fernanda" wrote in message news Hi I just installed windows vista and I thought I backed up my files but I didn't and now I can't find the windows.old files, where can I find it?
