Please feel free to search the newsgroups for the 50 OTHER THREADS ABOUT THE
EXACT SAME THING instead of expecting others to do your research for you.

Thank-you.

I feel much better.

I lose things and probably don't have a day when I know where everything is
in my house. I keep working on this.

But how do droves of people who are Vista groupies lose that PK??? It
boggles the mind.

When you get a PK or something of importance email it to yourself and put it
in a special folder in OE or OL.

Or put a folder on the old desktop and call it Important numbers and put a
notepad in it with the PKs.

Or do what I do.....use an old-fashioned thing called a pen and paper and
write it down too
Always knew my old filofax would come in useful one day......

I do that sometimes. My pockets used to get filled with index cards of
things to do. It takes time to enter it on a computer or a PDA. For
important numbers, tips, etc. directions I find emailing to myself and then
putting in a folder helps me isolate them--and the email is searchable. The
email is accessible no matter what you have with you if you can get access
to the web.

I would also love to scan papers and get paperless but OCR character
recognition is so poor that that option is not viable now. It amuses me
that Omni Page Pro says they get 35% better every year, because how many
times can 35% go into 100--not 10 I'm sure.

Wow, it is amazing how rude and completely asinine people can be. I am in the
same boat, lost my key due to accidentally clearing the email folder. I am
hoping I can find the beta install DVD and that I wrote it on the disc.
Microsoft doesn't appear to offer a way to recover existing keys.
Sorry about the other fools who posted in response to your question.

For future use, print out the email with the key on it. Cut or fold it
so it fits in a case with the DVD you just burned the software to. My
handwriting looks like a doctor so printing out the email is the way to
go.
