Default Live Messenger with Windows Vista

Hello

First, I'm french, so sorry for my english which might be not perfect.

However, I've tried the Pre-RC1 and also tried the first BETA, and I always
encounter the same problem.

MSN, or Live Messenger can not start, and I wonder why. It tells me that I
Am behind a firewall, or it isn't right. I've already installed on the same
computer, a version of Windows XP Home Edition SP2 and it works perfect.

I've tried to reinstall Vista and WLM but it does'nt work...

My computer is :

Motherboard : DFI Lan Party UT NForce 4 Ultra
CPU : AMD Opteron 165 (@2,8GHz)
Memory : 2048 Me DDR PC4000
Grafik Card : X1900XT 512Mo
HDD : Western Digital Raptor 74Go + Maxtor 250 Go
Sound Card : SB Audigy 2 ZS

Could you help me please?

Maxime

For those who are having problems with Live Messenger on Vista. I have got
the same problem as most people do. However, I have mange to get it working
by reinstalling Vista and install Live Messenger right after I did all the
windows updates online. This works for me. I am running this on my test
notebook, I have try all the solution that most people suggested but never
able to get it working, until I reinstall and install Live Messenger the
first place.

It is not a solution but just posting it here to let everyone knows this
might be another option to try. I works on myside.
