As an Administrator when you first install Vista I know I'm not the big boss of my computer. Had issues after upgrading to Vista with my Dell Dimension E510 drive array crashing after starting ITunes. Reformatted and loaded vista from scratch, and reinstalled ITunes. Still same issue. ITunes is crashing the raid array each and every time. IPod not compatible with Media Player. Everyone is hosed!

My kids just put together a computer and used an upgrade version of Vista as a clean install. I have an old copy of XP. Microsoft won't activate the upgrade version. Do I need to delete Vista and install XP then reinstall Vista? Can I pay Microsoft the difference between the upgrade and non-upgrade version?

Running XP on two computers and VISTA on one. The VISTA can see the other two, without a problem, and the other two show an icon in the workgroup for the VISTA but can't access any files. I have set up file sharing and printer sharing on the VISTA but the XP's can't even share that printer. I've been fighting this for two days without success. Any suggestions?
