Photo Gallery,Multiple Open Programs by cinci1
i am using windows Vista rc2 build 5744. is there a way to change the way photogallery opens multiple images. in the old fax picture viewer if i selected several pictures from a newsreader to view each picture would be loaded in order but only one instance of the the fax/viewer would run. in photgallery each picture loads a new photgalley program. i end up with multiple photogalley's running.

decided to go back to XP, license question by johnm
Due to too many issues with Vista, I've decided to go back to XP. MS's EULA states that if I "upgraded" to Vista, my XP key would be rendered void, so how do I go back exactly? Sounds as though MS has decided that I can't "downgrade". Do they expect me to go out and buy XP again or is there some procedure to get my XP key reinstated?

Shadow Copy Bug?! by will f
Here's some interesting behavior. I develop a small app that uses a MS Access database. I had a database with about a dozen records in it. For testing purposes, I deleted the 12-record database Access file and replaced it with a database file with no records in it. When I put the new empty database file down, my app behaved as if it was the 12-record database file. What's even more...

Aero & Laptop power drain - experiences? by Bren
I'm currently running Vista Home Basic on a Dell D620 laptop, with the Vista Basic visual theme. So far I've been quite impressed with Vista's power management features and am quite happy. I'm on the verge of doing an Anytime Upgrade to Home Premium, primarily for Aero but also for some of the extra Mobility, DVD playback features etc. Looking around the web there are quite a few articles...

Program Access by will f
If I am logged in as an administrator, why would my programs not run under that credential? I've already been authenticated. If an administrator account user launches a program, then that means that an administrator account user wants to run the program. Why the prompts? If I did not want the program to run, I would not have launched it. How can I turn this off? - will f
