Since day one, I have had a headache of a problem, and nVidia has not been much of help in finding a solution. Perhaps I can find one here. Hi Folks, I'm a noob here and have a problem with hard drives. I installed 2 identical drives yesterday and after a LOT of messing about (reinstalling OS) finally got one of them the show in Windows. They are bothe SATA2 500GB disks. They both show in the BIOS and in the device manager but one shows as unknown, presumably as it hasn't been formatted yet. I've been tearing my hair out...

I just had a computer built w/ Vista Home Premium. After loading my music, pictures and other files from my other computer it says that I am using 80 GB of memory. I only loaded just over 30 GB of files. What happened to the other 50 or so GB? I've got an Asus DRW-1608P and every time I put a CD or DVD in it causes the system to go to a blue screen (and then reboot). I've tried loading the latest driver from Asus as well as deleting it from device manager and letting Vista reload but still doesn't work. I'm running Vista home premium 32. Any ideas?

I've tried to install my Artemis a million times now and each time Windows does not recognise the device and installs the generic Windows Mobile device driver which just does not work. On occasions it tries to install the Pocket PC driver which works for one second then displays - no drivers are installed for the ARTE20000 driver. Anyone have any idea on why with vista my sound card can't be recognized when I log off and shutdown the pc. But it recognizes it when I power down with the surge protector and re start, it is also ok if i restart when I just restart windows. It is only when I log off and shut down and boot up the next day. -- Dennis

I recently bought a medion notebook and connected a Freecom external drive that I had previously used with my old laptop. No problems , it was recognised and I could access files till the other night when it said it was empty. However Properties is showing 134gb used and 105gb free as it should be. Anybody know how I can access these files ?

I have Intel motherboard DP965LT. The problem is with usb keys! If a plug it in the usb port nothing happends! In Device manager it only shows unknow device! I have downloaded the drivers from intel site but it didn't help. It doesn't show any problems in the device manager. Just shows unknow device ! Can u please help me ? The problems is in Vista or in the motherboard ?

My newly bought computer worked well till last week. After having had ADSL installed by the service provider the DVD and CD docking stations have disapeared from the hardware list. They still are present in the BIOS. Anybody has an idea what the problem may be?

this printer only sort of works. System becomes very slow and printing is just as slow. Anyone have any experience with this?
