Greetings, I have a Dell XPS M1210 notebook with the Sigmatel HD 92xx codec, running Vista Ultimate. When I come home from work and want to watch a movie with my notebook as the player, I have to run WMC and reconfigure the system settings for "Single RCA" (or whatever) before I can open WMP11 and start a movie.

Is there any way to convert a TV recording of a cable TV music channel to a music CD that can be played in a car CD player? I have Vista Home Premium with Windows Media Center.

I just had to reset my iPod because apparently windows is dumping a lot of stuff on to it along with my music. How can I clean up windows so it won't do that? I can only put about 50 songs on my iPod due to the other "stuff" being dumped. Thx, I appreciate the help...

I have ripped DVD's onto my hard drive and have enabled Media Center to show these in the "DVD Gallery" thanks to a previous thread. However I cannot add these to my library in Media Player nor can I add any attributes like Abstract or Album/Cover Art. I am guessing that I need to add some registry entries but I don't know what keys or fields. Does anyone have any sugestions? -- Tunester

I have windows media player 11 on this pc which is brand new. When I import video clips from my dig cam (they are .avi) they are black. I can hear the sound but all I see is black. How do i fix this? When I have a list of songs in my library, it will play until there are a 20 seconds left of the song and then skip and jump through until the end and play the next song. At the end of that song, it does the same thing. If I add one song to the list and play them one at time, I don't have any problems. Symaddin error keeps popping up in media center. Usually when I am ripping. It will return to media center and ripping is not interrupted. Still, I can't understand what it might be. I also get "An error has occurred" and something to the effect of "you will now be returned to media center." Again there seems to be no effect on the system when this happens.

In Microsoft Office Picture Manager, when I print a document, it always comes out huge, even after I use the editing tool to reduce the size. I scanned a small document, reduced the size to about 800 pixels wide and printed it, but it came out so big it ran right off the paper. Why is it doing this? Thanks, Chet
