I know that Vista 32 will not REPORT 4gb of ram , as a matter of fact it will most likely report 2.8gb out of 4 with my system. BUT one thing I cannot find about this issue , is ALL 4gb being used? hi installed 2 x samsung SP1654N hard drives in comp. bios recognises them and vista os recognises them yet c: is correct 150 GB and D: 31.4 GB yet should be 150 GB. why is this ? thanks!!!!

When I start VISTA, everything works fine and I can use the stand by function. When I do this a second time, systems goes into stand by mode, but then starts immediatly again for no reason. powercfg -Lastwake doesn't give any information. BIOS is correct. Can anyone help? -- Udo Nitsche

Laptop fan on my acer TM 2400 series doesn't ever go off. It's like the computer is constantly under 100% load and is heating up but it isn't. It's always on even when the computer is ide and vista's task manager confirms that. Under XP it worked ok, when the system got hot it cooled it and turned itself off. What's up with that? Thanx

I have problms with the sleep mode on the Acer 9423WSMib. I remember seeing a message saying that some drivers interfer with entering the sleep mode but I can not find out where I have seen this message. I connect the camera via USB and computer doesn't seem to find the camera. Vista installs some driver of it's own and doesn't let me install Panasonic driver.
