I have got vista RC1(2600) downloaded from microsoft.I have the trial key which microsoft sent me too. The problem is vista installs with out and probems but when it reboots for the 1st time after installling initial drivers and setup files, it hangs at the part where it says "updating DMI pool data...." and nothing happens after that. With my windows XP, during boot processing, the video signal has two high for my LCD monitor, and it's disynchronized. I have two computer using Geforce 6600gt, and lcd monitor, with same problem. only when logon screen appear, this situation return to normal. I suspect some probleme with nVidia device drivers. I upgraded to Vista and had Office XP Pro installed. Upon trying to open outlook, I have an error that says that Outlook requires Outlook Express from IE 5! Weird, I've been running IE7 since it came out under XP with no problems. Is there a way to solve this? I have looked all over Microsoft.com and found nothing on this issue so far.

Vista RC1 appeaars to load and install okay (Upgrade), however, on first startup it reboots after the screen with rolling yellow bar at the bottom and screen with "RC1 Bulild 5600" on the lower right. Reboots continuously until action taken to rollback to previous OS (XP). Unable to start in Safe Mode (or any other in menu).

I have tried several times to run the Vista RC1 Advisor, but each time it seems to "stall" in that it keeps scanning and not reporting back any findings, and this is after running for over 45mins. I have tried the beta advisor in the past, and it came back with it's findings in 4 mins. Any ideas.
